37/41mm Bung for Large Demijohns and Fermenters

37/41mm Bung for Large Demijohns and Fermenters

€1,70

This 37/41 mm bung is designed for sealing large demijohns, carboys, and fermenters, providing a secure and reliable closure during fermentation. It features a permanently attached, closeable airlock opening, allowing controlled release of fermentation gases while protecting your brew from contamination.

The stopper includes a lip flange that prevents it from being pushed into the vessel, even under active fermentation pressure. This also makes removal easy and safe. Its versatile design allows the bung to sit either inside or over the bottle neck, making it suitable for a wide range of fermenter styles.

The integrated hole is sized to accept standard 8 mm airlocks, ensuring compatibility with most fermentation setups. Made from durable material and manufactured in Poland, this stopper is built for repeated use and long term reliability.

Frequently asked questions

What do I do if my order is delivered and it is damaged?

Contact us straight away. All our orders are packaged carefully but unfortunately sometimes packages do get damaged in transport. Unlike some other homebrew and glass suppliers, if this happens we will replace the damaged goods free of charge.

Where are your manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.

When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.

Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €6 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €2.95 to ship or free over €30
