This demijohn mead yeast with nutrient is specially formulated for 5 litre mead fermentations, making it ideal for small batch mead making and beginners. Each pack contains both yeast and the correct level of nutrient to support a clean, controlled fermentation without the need for additional supplements.

Honey is naturally low in nutrients, which can lead to slow or stuck fermentations. This yeast and nutrient blend provides everything needed to keep fermentation healthy, allowing the yeast to fully ferment sugars while preserving the natural character of the honey.

Designed for use in glass demijohns, this yeast produces predictable, repeatable results. Simply mix honey and water, pitch the yeast, fit a bung and airlock, and allow fermentation to begin.

What do I do if my order is delivered and it is damaged?

Contact us straight away. All our orders are packaged carefully but unfortunately sometimes packages do get damaged in transport. Unlike some other homebrew and glass suppliers, if this happens we will replace the damaged goods free of charge.

Where are your products manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.
When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.
Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €7 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €3.95 to ship or free over €30
