Food Grade Citric Acid 75 g

Food Grade Citric Acid 75 g

€1,25

This food grade citric acid (E330) is a versatile, natural ingredient packaged in convenient 75 g packs for everyday use. Citric acid is widely used in food preparation, preserving, and traditional processes such as cheese making, where precise acidity control is essential.

Citric acid is commonly used in fresh cheese production to acidify milk during curd formation. It is fully food safe when used correctly, making it suitable for home cheesemakers, preservers, and cooks alike.

In the kitchen, citric acid enhances flavour by adding a clean, refreshing acidity and is often used in jams, jellies, sauces, drinks, baked goods, and desserts. It allows you to adjust acidity without adding extra liquid, offering an advantage over lemon juice or vinegar.

Beyond food use, citric acid is also valued for household cleaning, including descaling kettles, coffee machines, and dishwashers, as well as for cosmetic and general care applications when properly diluted.

This product is repackaged from bulk supply into sealed 75 g packs for ease of use and storage.

What do I do if my order is delivered and it is damaged?

Contact us straight away. All our orders are packaged carefully but unfortunately sometimes packages do get damaged in transport. Unlike some other homebrew and glass suppliers, if this happens we will replace the damaged goods free of charge.

Where are your products manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.

When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.

Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €7 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €3.95 to ship or free over €30
