Loughran Deluxe Pale Ale Malt is made from premium malting barley varieties and kilned to precise specifications to provide excellent extract, colour stability and enzyme retention. It produces a bright golden wort with a rich, malty backbone, making it an excellent foundation for both modern hop-forward beers and traditional malt-led styles.

With low nitrogen content and excellent fermentability, this versatile base malt delivers dependable brewing performance and a balanced malt character. It works particularly well alongside generous hop additions while also providing the depth needed for Irish Red Ales, Porters and Stouts.

What do I do if my order is delivered and it is damaged?

Contact us straight away. All our orders are packaged carefully but unfortunately sometimes packages do get damaged in transport. Unlike some other homebrew and glass suppliers, if this happens we will replace the damaged goods free of charge.

Where are your products manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.
When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.
Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €7 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €3.95 to ship or free over €30
