Chemsan by Chemisphere UK is a professional grade acid based no rinse sanitiser, supplied here in a convenient 100 ml bottle, ideal for homebrewers and small batch users.

Formulated with phosphoric acid, benzenesulfonic acid and isopropanol, Chemsan effectively sanitises brewing equipment prior to fermentation and bottling. It performs similarly to popular acid sanitisers used throughout the brewing industry and is suitable for fermenters, bottles, siphons, kegs, and transfer equipment.

When diluted correctly, Chemsan does not require rinsing and can be left to air dry without affecting flavour or fermentation.

The 100 ml size is perfect for beginners, occasional brewers, or as a compact bottle to keep in your brew kit.

Instructions for Use

  • Dilution Ratio: Mix 10 ml Chemsan with 5 litres of water to create a 0.2 percent solution.

  • Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned before sanitising.

  • Apply by spray, cloth, sponge, or immersion.

  • Keep surfaces wet for at least 2 minutes.

  • Allow to air dry. No rinsing required at recommended dilution.

  • Maintain solution pH at 3.5 or lower for effectiveness.

Note: May appear cloudy in hard water but remains effective if pH is maintained. Not recommended for soft metals.

What do I do if my order is delivered and it is damaged?

Contact us straight away. All our orders are packaged carefully but unfortunately sometimes packages do get damaged in transport. Unlike some other homebrew and glass suppliers, if this happens we will replace the damaged goods free of charge.

Where are your products manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.
When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.
Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €7 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €3.95 to ship or free over €30
