Amarillo Hop Pellets 100g

Amarillo Hop Pellets 100g

€9,35

Amarillo is a popular American dual-purpose hop known for its bright citrus, floral and fruity character. It is particularly recognised for its sweet orange and grapefruit notes, making it an excellent choice for adding a vibrant citrus profile to modern American ales.

With enough alpha acid for bittering and a strong aroma profile for later additions, Amarillo is a versatile hop that works particularly well when used in late-boil, whirlpool and dry-hop additions.

Similar & Substitute Hops

Amarillo can be replaced or complemented by other citrus-forward American hop varieties, including:

  • Cascade – grapefruit, citrus and floral character
  • Centennial – stronger citrus and floral qualities
  • Citra – more intense tropical and citrus fruit
  • Simcoe – citrus and tropical fruit with additional pine and resin

Beer Styles

Amarillo works particularly well in:

  • American Pale Ale
  • IPA
  • American IPA
  • Session IPA
  • Blonde Ale
  • American Wheat Beer

You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.
