Fuggles Hop Pellets 100g

Fuggles Hop Pellets 100g

€6,30

Fuggles is a classic English aroma hop known for its mild, earthy and gently spicy character. A traditional choice for British brewing, it contributes a balanced combination of flavour, aroma and gentle bitterness without overpowering the malt character of the beer.

Particularly at home in traditional ales and stouts, Fuggles can also be used for late additions and dry hopping in Bitters, Pale Ales and IPAs when a more traditional, earthy hop profile is desired.

Similar & Substitute Hops

Fuggles can be replaced or complemented by other traditional hops with similar earthy, herbal and spicy characteristics, including:

  • Styrian Goldings – one of the closest alternatives, with a delicate earthy, floral and spicy character
  • Willamette – American variety descended from Fuggles with similar earthy and floral qualities
  • East Kent Goldings (EKG) – classic English hop with floral, earthy and gently spicy notes
  • Tettnang – herbal and spicy alternative with a slightly more continental character

Beer Styles

Fuggles works particularly well in:

  • American Pale Ale
  • Pale Ale
  • Porter
  • Stout
  • Bitter
  • IPA
  • English IPA
  • Brown Ale
  • Mild Ale

Its traditional character makes it particularly suitable for British and malt-forward beer styles, while late additions and dry hopping can bring its earthy and spicy aroma to the forefront.

You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.
