Mandarina Bavaria Hop Pellets 100g

Mandarina Bavaria Hop Pellets 100g

€4,75

Mandarina Bavaria is a modern German aroma hop released in 2012, known for its distinctive citrusy and floral character. It delivers prominent notes of mandarin orange and grapefruit, with a bright, fresh character that works particularly well in strongly hopped beers.

Often compared to Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria offers a more distinctive citrus profile and is an excellent choice for brewers looking to add vibrant fruit and citrus character to pale ales, wheat beers and other hop-forward styles.

Similar & Substitute Hops

Mandarina Bavaria can be replaced or complemented by hop varieties with similar citrus and fruity characteristics, including:

  • Cascade – classic citrus and floral character with grapefruit notes
  • Centennial – citrus-forward with grapefruit and floral qualities
  • Amarillo – sweet citrus and orange character
  • Citra – more tropical and intense citrus character

Beer Styles

Mandarina Bavaria works particularly well in:

  • American Pale Ale
  • Pale Ale
  • Blonde Ale
  • Wheat Beer
  • Tripel
  • Porter
  • IPA
  • Fruit-forward and hop-forward ales

Its bright citrus character makes it especially useful for late kettle additions, whirlpool additions and dry hopping when you want to emphasise its mandarin and grapefruit qualities.
