Tie The Knot Hop Sock / Small Grain Bag

Tie The Knot Hop Sock / Small Grain Bag

€3,20

The Tie The Knot Hop Sock / Small Grain Bag is a reusable brewing bag designed for dry hopping, steeping hops, adding spices and other brewing ingredients. Its long tubular design can be cut to your preferred size, allowing you to customise the bag for different brewing applications.

It is particularly useful when brewing NEIPAs and DIPAs with a heat exchanger, as containing the hops in a bag can help prevent hop material from clogging plates, pumps and other brewing equipment.

Rated to 110°C, it can be used directly in the boiler during the boil and is also suitable for use in fermenters.

How to Use

The 800mm length allows you to customise the bag to suit your brew. It can be cut in half, thirds or quarters, with the ends tied to create individual bags.

When filling the hop sock, leave plenty of room for the hops to expand and absorb liquid. The bag can then be tied securely and suspended in the boiler or fermenter using suitable unscented floss, a clip or clamp.

For cleaning, soaking in a sodium percarbonate solution is recommended before washing.

Where are your products manufactured?

As an Irish Company we take pride in supporting Irish manufacturing businesses. Unfortunately we can't get everything made in Ireland so we work on an As Local As Possible principle. This means we get everything from as close to Sligo, Ireland as possible. Sometimes this is Poland or England or France or Scotland. You can always find the country of manufacture in the product description.

When will I get my order?

We dispatch all our orders within 2 days. Our parcels are shipped with tracking by An Post or DPD. Once handed over delivery usually take 2-3 days.

Can I return my order?

We do accept returns with full refunds once the product is undamaged. If the products are damaged in return transit you will be refunded the purchase amount minus the cost of damaged goods.

How much does shipping cost?

Our Standard Tracked Shipping in Ireland is €7 or free on orders over €75 but smaller items (i.e. yeast packets, bubblers, syphon tubes) qualify as "small orders" and are €3.95 to ship or free over €30
